Success Stories

Abdul

“Every person I met at TLC brought positivity, hope and guidance into my life, like angels. No doctor could have affected my mental and physical health in the way TLC did.

With their incredible support, I secured a bursary to retrain as an Electrical Engineer. Now i’ve completed level 2 and have enrolled for level 3! For the first time in a long time, I feel proud and excited about the future.”

Frouhar

“When I learnt that my experience and qualifications and certificates wouldn’t be accepted in the UK, I felt empty, I couldn’t do anything, all I could still do was breathe. The first steps I made were through TLC. They also explained the systems in the UK and got my certificates translated and verified for me.”

Eatidal

“TLC found a suitable vacancy as a teacher and encouraged me to apply, they provided me with the confidence and a reference. I can’t believe they helped me find my dream job. That changed my life, I became independent and financially stable.TLC is really good in helping refugees, as they understand what they need, they give them advice so that they can make their own progress.”
